Heritage Shores Let's Do Trivia

A lighter crowd than normal but still a ton of fun today. The teams all did pretty good and had the correct answers rolling in. The first half we saw some really good competition. After the halftime question it was New People 1 point ahead of Dumb Luck.   The second half we saw some real mix ups in answers and scores. The first half is in the rear view and the real game has started and we saw a couple teams slipping. Going into the final question it was New People in first (in their first game) just a couple points ahead of Heritage Champions. The final was tough and no teams came up with the correct answer so it all came down to wagering, and would that lead to a winner? Well, no. We had a tie and now needed one more question to settle things between Waterside Wonders and Heritage Champions. The weather is finally getting a little warmer and maybe spring has sprung. The teams came out and were ready to play. 14 teams showed up and it was really competitive. After the halftime question it was Amanda's Avengers in the lead with 3 teams right behind them tied for second.   The second half we saw some mix ups and a do over question, but most of the teams kept their composure. Going into the final question it was Amanda's Avengers yet again with the lead with the Fun New Guys in second. The final question proved to be a good one, but a lot of teams came up with the correct answer. Here is where things got a little sticky for me as a host, I made a mistake and announced Fun New Guys as the winners as I thought they had turned in the correct answer, but my attention to detail was lacking in this instance and they did not turn in the right answer. Another busy game of trivia , but a little more manageable as they have split the games into 2 monthly events. The teams came out and packed the room to play some trivia. After the halftime question it was HS Legends tied with the 18 th Legion for first place.   The second half of the game is always tricky as the questions get just a little bit harder. The teams were up and down with scores and we had some changes in rankings going into the final question. This time it was Just the 18 th Legion alone on top of the scoreboard. Was that enough to ensure them victory after the final question?
