Blurb Heritage Shores 4/12/22

The weather is finally getting a little warmer and maybe spring has sprung. The teams came out and were ready to play. 14 teams showed up and it was really competitive. After the halftime question it was Amanda's Avengers in the lead with 3 teams right behind them tied for second.

 

The second half we saw some mix ups and a do over question, but most of the teams kept their composure. Going into the final question it was Amanda's Avengers yet again with the lead with the Fun New Guys in second. The final question proved to be a good one, but a lot of teams came up with the correct answer. Here is where things got a little sticky for me as a host, I made a mistake and announced Fun New Guys as the winners as I thought they had turned in the correct answer, but my attention to detail was lacking in this instance and they did not turn in the right answer. A member of their team came over and notified me to my mistake and we got things squared away, big thank you to the Fun New Guys as they did the right thing and were very honest. After my error was resolved it was Waterside Wizards as the actual winners.

Heritage Shores - Let's Do Trivia! - 8/9/22

A packed house tonight as the teams all came out to see if they can unseat last games champs Swamp Fox. The game was really competitive throughout and a very fun time. After the halftime question it was Waterside Wizards with a narrow lead over Brain Teasers.   The second half of the game was a close one up till the end. Going into the final question it was again Waterside Wizards in the lead with the Other End right behind them. The final question was about 60s TV shows and when they debuted. I thought it was a tough question but 11 of the 13 teams came up with the correct answer in this one and the scores shot through the roof. BLURB - Heritage Shores Trivia - 3/22

Another busy game of trivia , but a little more manageable as they have split the games into 2 monthly events. The teams came out and packed the room to play some trivia. After the halftime question it was HS Legends tied with the 18 th Legion for first place.   The second half of the game is always tricky as the questions get just a little bit harder. The teams were up and down with scores and we had some changes in rankings going into the final question. This time it was Just the 18 th Legion alone on top of the scoreboard. Was that enough to ensure them victory after the final question? Heritage Shores - Let's Do Trivia! - 7/12/22

18 teams showed up for trivia this week and it was a really fun times and a close game. The first half of the game we saw a new team come up in the lead after the halftime question, which is nice since this game can be difficult at times. The Other End performed very well for their first time out leading the way into the second half.   Just like every second half a lot of things change, some teams fall and other rise up. You never know which team you might be. Going into the final tonight it was Waterside Wizards just ahead of Factoids. The final question about crude oil distribution was tough, but a couple teams did come up with the right answer.
